Maternal Health Program in Guatemala

Several years ago a Rotary D7090 Global Grant project  was initiated by the Lincln Rotary Club to support the mid-wife education of 87 birth attendants in Guatemala.

The Rotarians have been back to visit and can report there have been no child deaths since the program was instituted several years back.  They are now putting together a project for an Early Childhood Education program for the same health district in Guatemala to increase the stimulation and health of the youngsters.
