Guelph Food Bank

Carolyn McLeod-McCarthy is the Managing Director of the Guelph Food Bank (GFB). Her role includes managing the operations at the 100 Crimea St location, food procurement, media relations, working with other food support servicing programs in the city, and supporting the other 10 locations - soon to be 11 - in the GFB network.

Carolyn started her career working in the Editorial Department at the Waterloo Region Record newspaper which morphed into many projects with the marketing and advertising departments. After 20 years, Carolyn moved on to teaching in the Business Marketing department teaching Marketing and Business entrepreneurship while running her own art studio. Fast forward to today, and Carolyn is using her experience to help the Guelph Food Bank expand their operations with new incentives and programs.
