Earth Day is almost here!
Guelph Clean and Green Community Cleanup, and
Rotary Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup
POD #4 invites you to a community cleanup event that supports our local area while we participate in a Rotary Multi-District cleanup of the watersheds that flow into the Great Lakes.
We invite Rotarians, their families and friends to join us on Saturday, April 19th at 10:00 am to clean-up the south side of the Eramosa River trail which runs from James St. to Victoria Rd. (area behind Cutten Fields).
The City of Guelph provides us with gloves and special garbage bags, as well as safety instructions.
After the cleanup we are invited for a pizza and a chit chat social at the home of Sonia and Andre Spekkens.
Just in case you need a little more inspiration, the City of Guelph provides FREE Riverside Amusement tickets as a token of appreciation. Only one ticket per registered participant and only while supplies last.
Let's enjoy the fresh air, the sound of running water and the friendship of fellow Rotarians and friends while we support Rotary's 7th area of focus - Protecting the Environment.
Register via the event page or this register link if you are available to participate on the 19th.
Once you register - we will email you more specifics about the event and your safe participatiion.
