Camp Enterprise is a 3-day annual workshop/seminar event for high school students at the University of Waterloo during the first week of May. The Chair of our club’s committee works with the District Committee to assist with event coordination. Our club usually selects 6 or 7 Guelph-area students who would like to learn about starting and operating a business. The Club Committee advertises, interviews and selects the students, and arranges for their transportation to and from Waterloo.

RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) is a 4-to-5-day annual leadership workshop program offered by the District for 18-to-25-year-olds. The Club Committee works with the District Committee to select suitable candidates from the community to attend the program. Our club usually selects 1 or 2 local candidates, based on budget, who would like to learn  more about leadership development. The Club Committee advertises, interviews and selects the candidates, and arranges for their transportation to and from the program’s venue.

Youth Exchange - Coordinates participation in the District Youth Exchange Program by our club, for both inbound and outbound students.
Inbound - Responsible for organizing host parents and a counsellor to ensure the student’s needs are met during their stay with our club.
Outbound - Responsible for seeking suitable candidates and assisting with the application, interview and selection processes.

Rotaract - The University of Guelph Rotaract Club is co-sponsored by Rotary Club of Guelph and Rotary Club of Guelph-Trillium with members aged 18 through 30.  The Club Liaison acts as mentor, and actively assists the Rotaract Club to develop and participate in Rotary and community service programs.

Scholarships - Oversees both sets of annual club scholarships: Fred Black and University of Guelph Co-op Marketing.
Fred Black - Coordinates with the 7 high schools in Guelph to select one student from each school, who will attend a community college program. Each recipient receives a scholarship of $500 and a small plaque. The schools are charged with selecting the appropriate student and the club makes the presentation. This committee coordinates the award presentations and arranges for the students to attend and speak to our club.
Gregg Mitchell Memorial University of Guelph Co-op Marketing - Works with the University of Guelph Marketing Program to select a student based on academic performance and feedback from employers during their work term. The scholarship is awarded annually and has a value of $1,000.
