Foundation Awards
To provide acknowledgment and celebration of the “service above self” efforts of individuals, both Rotarians and non-Rotarians. In honour of Paul Harris, the Founder of Rotary, awards are given to individuals who contribute through community leadership (Community Award) and/or financially (Club Award) to support the work of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. As well, our Club awards an annual vocational service award in the name of founding Club Member, Peter Moore.
To provide three types of awards to worthy recipients:
Community Paul Harris Awards presented to individuals that demonstrate their commitment to helping others through leadership and action that aligns with the Rotary motto “Service Above Self”
Club Paul Harris Awards are presented to members who are recognized for their “Service About Self” and financial contributions of $1000 or more each year to the Rotary Foundation
The annual Peter Moore Vocational Award is given to one club member who demonstrates excellence in their profession.
